I am Hanieh Mohammadi — a Strategy and Organization scholar at McGill University (Desautels School of Management) and a management consultant helping organizations turn strategy into real results.

My academic research examines how innovation actually happens at the boundary where teams, authority, and structure meet. My consulting work translates that insight into practice: strategies with clear milestones you can actually execute, organizational designs that fit your specific context, and AI transformation plans that unlock innovation rather than simply adopting technology.

Trained at McGill (PhD), Harvard Kennedy School (MPA), and Sharif University of Technology, and mentored by Henry Mintzberg, I bring academic rigor and hands-on experience from consulting with the United Nations, government ministries, and organizations across three continents.

Nestled within the halls of McGill, I find my home base. Yet my heart and expertise are not confined by geographical boundaries. While I'm a firm believer in the potency of in-person interactions and their ability to reveal subtleties often overlooked in a remote setting, the recent pandemic has honed my skills in remote research. It's taught me to flex new muscles, adapt, and uncover insights from afar - even though it may not be my favoured approach.
